BE-3884 - Nepenthes spectabilis x tenuis
Nepenthes spectabilis is one of our favourite species, and there is something inherently funny about combining BE’s Spectabilis ‘Giant’ with Nepenthes tenuis, one of the smallest-pitchered species in the genus. N. tenuis is one of the beautiful infundibuliform (funnel or toilet-shaped) Nepenthes, so this is an exciting cross that has consistently produced richly coloured pitchers, with some showing the beautiful striped peristome of N. spectabilis.
These plants are a random selection from many clones out of microprop from Borneo Exotics. The photos shown here are representative plants from the seed set of this hybrid and may not be identical clones to the plants you receive.
Plants are growning in 95mm pots for reference. Plants will be shipped bare rooted with the root ball wrapped in sphagnum.
